We've spent several yucky, windy, rainy days in Buffalo, NY. During these times I end up baking cookies. I like fluffy cookies, and I have a pretty awesome Chocolate Chip Rum Cookie Recipe here:
Ingredients:
1 stick of butter melted
3/8 cup of brown sugar
3/8 cup of white sugar
1/2 tsp of baking soda or powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2 eggs
1.5 cups of flour
1 glass of rum (or whisky)
Instructions:
Mix the butter, sugar, baking soda, salt, vanilla, eggs, and the flour (enough flour so the batter isn’t runny). Drink the rum (or whisky).
Bake between 300 - 450 degrees (working with a boat oven here) for about 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
